In Odyssey of Gianna, you will control a group of eight unique girls with their own skills and strengths, attributes and weaknesses.
These three are the first people you'll control in the game: Lilina Markos, Princess of Gianna; Sinian Woodward, court magician and childhood friend of Lilina; and Sableclaw (usually just "Sable"), Lilina's personal knight and bodyguard.
Each represents one of the common races of the world - human, elf and forester, respectively. Each also has its own class and other unique traits. For example, Sable has a rooster, which has certain gameplay implications, and Lilina's status as a princess means that some enemies will make her capture a priority.
These three, by order of the Jannan Parliament, will travel the world in search of six jewels, as well as six tomes that will help unlock the power of these jewels. In any case, this is the main quest line - there are practically no restrictions on where and what you can do!
