This is the saga of Corvald, a Viking scribe, and his alliance with a parasitic creature that answers to the name "Krot'un". History does not tell us that the Viking clans had their own scribes. It is said that their folklore has been preserved solely through oral tradition, but this is not true.
Many of the written Viking sagas damaged the reputation of the royal families and enlightened the church, so these writings, along with their authors, were aggressively removed from existence. The story of Corvald is not a story of heroism and justice, but of deception and suffering inflicted by powerful religious empires. His story begins like many others end.
The family is killed and taken from his now-destroyed village, Corvald is branded a heretic and sentenced to death. Moments before the executioner arrives, Krot'un approaches Korvald and makes an agreement that will change everything...
