The main character of Wifey's Dilemma is you! You become friends with an Asian girl in her early 20s who has been studying in the US since high school but was unable to obtain a green card. Over the years, you became good friends and she asked to be your “fake wife” in order to gain American citizenship.
Of course, being a good friend (and also having a reason) you agreed! It depends on you how the story will develop. You can make your wife truly fall in love with you, and if you make a “mistake,” she will become promiscuous.
