The action takes place in Belmonte Calabro in Italy. Belmonte is a town filled with Automata, boasting the highest number of Automata produced in a year. Automata are androids. Mechanical creatures created from nothing. Most automatons can be easily distinguished from humans due to their robotic faces, but there are antique dolls that look exactly like humans, only their eyes give away who they really are.
You start out as Romeo, a sluggish taxi driver who doesn't stink at all when he drives around town in his cab. Or so it looks from the outside. But the truth is, he's a runaway werewolf from Orm Ross, the only remaining werewolf clan. He lives with Anna, an antique doll he picked up from a junkyard after he left Orm Ross. She has no memories of the past.
So she lives happily with Romeo. But the good times never last. Orma Rossa no longer wants to ignore Romeo, and a group called Luparia (the nemesis of the werewolves) moves behind in the shadows.
Romeo will be surrounded by both new and old enemies. This time, their target might not be just him...
