Longing: A Gay Story (YAGS for short) is a coming-out-oriented visual novel about the lives of characters with dating sim elements in which you play as a gay man starting his first year of college at a regular university somewhere in the midwest of the United States .
You'll interact with characters, each with their own personalities and stories, as you travel through college life, develop friendships, play board games, and move out of the house. If you're lucky, you might even find a boyfriend.
