In a break from tradition, the player takes on the role of Yoshimura Osamu, a 28-year-old man who, as our story begins, goes home after getting drunk to forget about the problems in his life. He recently lost his job as an accountant due to corporate layoffs.
On the way home, he meets a kind and attractive woman named Hinosaka Honoka, who consoles and tries to cheer him up. Before parting, she mentions that if he needs a place to stay, he can find her.
